This is a bike trail in Minneapolis. I ride it about once each week and don't really notice it much anymore. Today, though, the brilliant sun and the thin layer of snow on the trail made me look again. During winter, a sunny day is amazing because the shadows are so long and the sky is so blue.
This photo doesn't stir me like the actual scene did when I took the picture. I should have hopped it up with some saturation. I'll try that.

I'm always trying to get my photos to look like my eyes and brain see things. The memory almost always looks better.
