Makes me want to get a 3-speed.
It's worth it just to ride the Lake Pepin Tour.
Do it Doug! My 3-speed is one of my favorite bikes. It's the only bike I've ridden for the past two weeks.
I cannot even imagine going up that one huge optical illusion neverending hill on a heavy bike. I cannot imagine ever wanting to go up it again on a light bike. I can barely even get up it in my car.
Verlaine: 90% of it is half mental. Once you know and understand how long the hill is, it's pretty easy to settle in to an easy climb. Or just push the bike like I do.
I think walking is fine.
